CORE Program Probation Services monitors offenders placed on probation by the Courts. CORE Probation officers meet with probationers monthly to review the requirements of the Court and insure that the individual is complying. CORE also collects fines and restitution for the courts, as well as any special fees assessed by the Court (Drug Trust Fund, etc). Conditions of probation may include attending and completing DUI School and the evaluation component, completing treatment if referred to treatment, community service hours, Victim Impact Panel, attendance in anger management, shoplifting classes, weekend work program and any other conditions as specified as the courts.

Probation Officers also assist offenders with direction to various community social service agencies. Referrals are provided to Indian River Community College, English as a Second Language programs, GED, One Stop Job Center, and Food Bank.

CORE's belief in people is that fundamentally people desire to obey the law. Probation Officers and other staff extend themselves to assist clients with meeting and often exceeding the Court's requirements.
